Kidnap Kingpin, Evans Wants Court To Quash Suit Against Him

Suspected grab boss, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike a.k.a Evans, on Wednesday asked a Lagos High Court sitting in Igbosere to subdue the two separate charges recorded against him by the Lagos State Government, verging on trick to capture, hijacking and endeavored kill.

Evans is charged close by three others – Joseph Emeka, Ugochukwu Nwachukwu and Victor Aduba while in the second charge, he is charged nearby Joseph Emeka, Linus Okpara and Victor Aduba.

At the continued becoming aware of the case on Wednesday, Evans’ legal counselor, Olukoya Ogungbeje, told the court that he had documented a movement on notice to subdue every one of the charges recorded against his customer.

He said that the arraignment had before documented comparable charges and altered charges verging on hijacking against a similar first litigant pending under the steady gaze of a similar High Court of Lagos State.

‎In her reaction to the movement, the State Director for Public Prosecutions (DPP), Titilayo Shitta-Bey, said there was sufficient confirmation that demonstrated the main litigant submitted the offenses brought under the watchful eye of the court and asked the court to expel the application.

Ms. Shitta-Bey said that the main respondent (Evans) was accused of the offense of scheme to confer grabbing and abducting of one Uche Okereafor.

“This specific charge is prefaced on Evans association in the grabbing of Okereafor and gathering pay-off in the entirety of two million dollars from his family,” she said.

In the mean time, the second litigant, Joseph Emeka, has encouraged the court in a movement on notice to subdue the two-count charge favored as a detriment to him, saying the verification of proof did not demonstrate any by all appearances argument against him.

Additionally, the advice to the fourth litigant, Emmanuel Ochai, encouraged the court the subdue the charges against him.

Judge Adedayo Akintoye, in this way, dismissed the case till March 22 for additionally hearing.
